Apple has announced sales of the new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus passed the 10 million mark in just three days. The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus launch on September 19 and set a new record for the company. Currently available in the US, Canada, Australia, UK, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Puerto Rico and Singapore. The iPhone 6 is coming to more than 20 countries at the end of this week, and will be available in over 115 countries by the end of the year. Apple CEO Tim Cook had this to say about this achievement for the company
“Sales for iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus exceeded our expectations for the launch weekend, and we couldn’t be happier. We would like to thank all of our customers for making this our best launch ever, shattering all previous sell through records by a large margin. While our team managed the manufacturing ramp better than ever before, we could have sold many more iPhones with greater supply and we are working hard to fill orders as quickly as possible.”
