HP Will Stop Supporting WebOS In 2015

HP recently announced that there shutting down WebOS cloud service on January 15, 2015. While webOS devices will continue to work without the cloud services, several features will no longer be available. Users will no longer be able to backup or restore devices from the cloud or setup new devices. HP’s catalog of Apps will be no longer available after the shutdown and downloading of new apps or updates will not be possible. Up until January 15, 2015, users will be able to download all apps that have been purchased before November 1. After the shutdown, users will not be able to recover their password if their device locks. HP advises to make sure the password is in a safe location or turn off the device locking function.
