During the Super Smash Bros. Nintendo Direct the other day, Nintendo announced a new game mode called Smash Tour. In Smash Tour players navigate around a bored battling in mini games collecting bonuses such as agility and strength, Similar to Smash Run in the 3DS version of Smash Bros. When two characters meet on the game board they will engage in a battle and the player who loses will be eliminated. Super Smash Bros. For Wii U will be released on November 21 in North America December 5th for Europe and December 6th for Japan and Australia.
