PS3 and Xbox 360 Version Of Dying Light Have Been Cancelled
Dying Light developer Techland has announced that the game will not be releasing on PS3 and Xbox 360. A Facebook post from the studio suggests that compromises would need to be made for the game to be on the PS3 and Xbox 360. “ For instances, up to 2000,000 objects can be displayed in the game at once or Adding to the realistic feel, physics-based lighting technology and you really start to push the next-gen systems to the limits” from the Facebook post. "Therefore, after thorough internal testing, we have come to the conclusion that we have no choice but to leave past-gen systems behind and release Dying Light exclusively on the next-gen consoles and PC. Put simply, older consoles just couldn’t run the game and stay true to the core vision of Dying Light at the same time." Dying Light comes out for PS4, Xbox One and PC on January 27 in North America and January 30 for Europe.
