Nintendo Is Being Restructured
Following the news of the new Nintendo president Tatsumi Kimishima, Nintendo has announced restructuring plans. Both Nintendo developer Shigeru Miyamoto and Managing Director, Genyo Takeda have been assigned new roles within the company. Mr. Miyamoto will become a Creative Fellow and Mr. Takeda will become a Technology Fellow. The company has also created a brand new department which is titled the Business Development Division. Those workers in the Business Development Division will also be tasked with growing Nintendo’s smartphone ventures and also any new business which features Nintendo IP.
