Activision has announced that Call of Duty players, no matter if you’re a pro or an amateur, things are about to get interesting for Call of Duty eSports. Activision has created the Call of Duty World League, with a $3 million prize pool. The league will be split into a traditional Pro Division with local competitions in North America, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand. These start in January 2016 and will lead to a championship in the fall. Amateur players can start their quest to become a pro in the Challenge Division. Teams will be able to participate in local LAN events in a battle for the championship.
