IGN and Harmonix has announced Rock Band 4’s new difficulty mode. In Brutal mode the same note layout as Expert will be played, however the notes will disappear as they get closer to the strum area. The better you play, the hard the mode will get, meaning you’ll have to memorize the layouts to master this mode. Also, no-fail mode is automatically toggled off on Brutal mode, and if you’re playing with a group then Brutal is one for everyone (So evil).
