According to Financial Times, Apple has hired Doug Bowman, a former computer science professor from Virginia Tech whose research included 3D user interfaces. This could point in the direction of the company developing something with VR. What Apple has up there sleeve’s remains to be seen, but with so many of its tech competitors venturing into VR, Apple isn’t likely to be left out of the party.
