Psychonauts 2 has reached its funding goal of $3.3 million, with over 20,000 backers for the project. The campaign is notable because Double Fine used Fig instead of Kickstarter as their crowdfunding platform of choice. What makes Fig different from Kickstarter is that it allows backers to become investors in projects. Double Fine posted a video thanking all there backers:
