In a recent interview with GameSpot, Tekken series director Katsuhiro Harada told the publication that Tekken X Street Fighter is no longer in active development. Harada cited the excitement over the soon to be released Tekken 7 and a desire not to split that community between 2 games, saying "a good window in which to release Tekken X Street Fighter is something that's become difficult recently. So it's on hold for the moment." As long ago as 2014, Harada has insisted Tekken X Street Fighter was "pretty far stage in its development" so hearing that it’s not in active development comes as some what of a surprise. Tekken X Street Fighter Isn’t Coming Out Anytime Soon
