No Man’s Sky Has Been Delayed [UPDATE] Delayed 3 Days On PC


Hello Games' Sean Murray posted an update on No Man’s Sky via the PlayStation Blog, offering some details regarding that the game has been delayed to August 9, 2016. He also gave details on why the delay is occurring. In the blog post Murray wrote, "As we approached our final deadlines, we realized that some key moments needed extra polish to bring them up to our standards. I have had to make the tough choice to delay the game for a few weeks to allow us to deliver something special." Murray also had some apologies for the delay writing, "We understand that this news is disappointing. Making this game is the hardest thing I’ve ever done in my life, but we are so close now, and we’re prepared to make the tough choices to get it right." However, Murray wrote that development is going well and he looks forward to everyone getting a chance to play.

UPDATE 7/26/16 - No Man’s Sky will release on August 12 for PC according to the game's official site.
