Skylanders Academy Coming To Netflix

Activision launched a studio last year to start creating original content for its franchises and Skylanders Academy will be the first production. The show will air on Netflix this fall and has an impressive cast. The show is being run Eric Rogers, who is credited as an assistant to writers for Futurama. The cast includes Justin Long (Jeepers Creepers) as Spyro, Ashley Tisdale (High School Musical) as Stealth Elf, Jonathan Banks (Breaking Bad) as Eruptor, and Norm MacDonald as Glumshanks. Other talent announced for the show including Susan Sarandon (Thelma & Louise), Daniel Wu (Warcraft), Parker Posey (Scream 3), James Hetfield (Metallica), Catherine O’Hara (Home Alone), Bobcat Goldthwait (Sleeping Dogs Lie) and Harland Williams (Dumb and Dumber) among others. The show will follow Skylanders characters going on a series of adventures as they show. What o you think of the idea of this show ? The voice cast really interests me so I may have to check it out.
