Looks Like Blizzard Is Teasing A Support Sniper Character For Overwatch
The Overwatch Twitter tweeted out an image that suggests a new support sniper character could release soon. The tweet (which you can see below) shows classified information sent via a message between Jack Morrison (Soldier 76) and Gabriel Reyes (Reaper). An annotation in the email from Mercy states her agreement with Torbjorn's production of "different biotic delivery mechanisms was to save the lives of Overwatch agents and others in need of medical aid." However, she points out his latest proposal hints at the inevitable weaponizing of the rifle. The rifle shown in the tweet definitely doesn’t belong to an existing character, so hopefully we’ll see this new character in the game soon.
