2 Players Found Each Other In No Man’s Sky

With the release of No Man’s Sky, many people have been asking the question if it’s a multiplayer game or not. No Man’s Sky isn’t your typically multiplayer game. You won’t be joining lobbies with a group of friends in the game. Developer Hello Games’ has said that the chance of encountering another player at the same time on one of the quintillions of planets is slim to none. Well to everyones surprise those slim to none chances aren’t that slim. 2 players (Thesadcactus and Psytokat) somehow realized they were in the same solar system. The 2 ended up communicating on PSN and made it to the exact same spot, only problem was that they couldn’t see each other. Hello Games founder Sean Murray has responded about players attempting to encounter one another in No Man's Sky. Based on the following tweets (which you can see below), it seems that Psytokat and Thesadcactus would have been able to see each other if not for all the server traffic on day one.
