Electronic Arts and DICE have announced that the open beta for Battlefield 1 will begin on August 31. The beta will be available on PS4, Xbox One and PC via Origin. Those who sign up as a Battlefield Insider and select their platform of choice before August 21 will be eligible to gain early access. Those who participate in the open beta will be able to try out the Conquest and Rush modes on Battlefield 1's new Sinai Desert map that supports up to 64-player. The map also features three new Elite Classes, including Sentry, Tank Hunter and Flame Trooper. Battlefield 1 releases for PS4, Xbox One and PC on October 21.
