Square Enix has announced that Final Fantasy XV has been delayed to November 29, 2016. The game was originally set to release in September 30. According to Square Enix, the new date “will allow the development teams time to further polish and conduct quality testing so that the reality of the game can match the expectations of both the fans and the creative teams.” Another key reason for the delay is to give the development team time to put the day 1 patch on the disc. For that reason alone, I'm ok with the game being delayed. Seeing a developer care about not having a day one patch is refreshing and more sure follow in Square Enix's foot steps.
