The Nintendo NX rumors just keep coming and they support that the handheld will have detachable controllers that can be plugged into a system dock to be played on your television. Let’s Play Video Games says that the detachable controllers will support motion control and will also have a form of “advanced vibration force feedback”. The source has told the publication that the force feedback is apparently “very similar to the Vive controller, in that it alters intensity, pulsing patterns and duration of vibration to mimic the sensation of a range of different movement types. It’s not just one vibration for all situations, there’s a notable difference between the hard abrupt feedback of a sword clash or the softer, longer thud of something like hitting a tennis ball.” This rumor has gained more traction because Emily Rogers has claimed it has some truth to it. Known for her sources, the investigative journalist has come out in support of the claims. On Twitter, Emily claimed that the NX’s prototype matches the rumor’s description and features a 6.2 inch, 720p multitouch screen. She also mentions that the prototype docking station uses 2 USB ports. Emily is often reliable, but all of this is still a rumor.
