During this year's Arc System Works Fighting Game Award event, Guilty Gear: Xrd: Revelator 2 was announced.
The update will add 2 new characters, Answer and Baiken. "Business Ninja" Answer is a previously unplayable character who appeared the Xrd's story mode, while Baiken is a returning character who wields a Katana while wearing an eyepatch. Both will receive their own episodes in the story mode, as will Jam, Raven, Kum, and Dizzy, who were previously added in the first Revelator update for Xrd.
Revelator 2 will offer a host of balance changes. The update will release in Japanese arcades in Spring 2017, but will come to the West on consoles eventually.
