Blizzard Teases Chinese New Year Themed Event Called “Year Of The Rooster”
Overwatch has teased an event called “Year of the Rooster”, which appears to be a Chinese New Year themed event. The tease shows Mei in traditional Chinese clothing. As spotted by NeoGaf, Overwatch's Korean Twitter account also appears to have revealed a new skin for D.Va. On top of Mei and D.Va skins been teased, a set of Legendary skins have been leaked. Zenyatta dressed as Buddhist master, Tang Sanzang as Winston, Reinhardt and Roadhog are dressed as 3 disciples; Sun Wukong, the monkey king, Sha Wujing, the river monster, and Zhu Bajie, the immortal soldier/pig creature. There is no word yet on what the event will entail, with Blizzard teasing the event will start on January 24th and end on the January 31th. Guess we’ll have to see what happens tomorrow, I’m really curious to see what special game mode they will add if they do. Thoughts ?
