Samsung Revealing Results Of Galaxy Note7 Fire Investigation Later This Month

According to South Korean newspaper JoongAng Ilbo, Samsung will announce later this month the results of an investigation to what caused some of its Galaxy Note7 smartphones to catch fire. The Galaxy Note7 was released in August 2016 and, shortly after, user reports began reporting there devices were exploding or caught on fire while charging. At the time, the company said the issue was "problematic" batteries installed in a very limited number of the smartphones sold. Rumors suggest Samsung pushed suppliers to meet deadlines for an earlier launch, in order to beat the iPhone 7, leading to critical oversights that led to some batteries catching fire. Shortly after, the phones were recalled and Samsung urged users to stop using the phone. What do you think caused the issue with the Note 7 ? I having a feeling its something to do with how the phone charges and nothing to do with the batteries itself.
