Dropshot Game Mode Coming To Rocket League Next Week

Rocket League developer Psyonix is planning a free update to the game on March 22, introducing a new mode, Dropshot. Dropshot removes the standard goals, instead players need to break panels in their opponents' floor and then dropping the electrified ball in to score. The first time the ball hits a panel it activates it, and the second time breaks it. The ball itself also gets stronger via multiple battle-car hits, enabling it to damage up to 19 panels at once. The update will also introduce a speed-themed Turbo crate, the 4th competitive season, new arenas, and much more.
