It appears that leaked marketing materials for Sledgehammer Games installment of Call of Duty 2017 will be subtitled "WW2”. Sent anonymously to YouTube channel TheFamilyVideoGamers, images of promotional materials and steelbook designs show beach landings and World War 2-era clothing and weapons. As always, that these rumors with a pinch of salt until Activision and Sledgehammer Games release an official statement. However, earlier this year, an Activision investor call sparked speculation when a presentation slide explained that 2017's entry "will take Call of Duty back to its roots". So this could be true, but we’ll have to wait and see. I for one hope it’s true.
