Nintendo president Tatsumi Kimishima has stated to Nikkei that the revenue from Super Mario Run didn’t meet the company’s expectations. However, Nintendo has said that they prefer the Super Mario Run business model compared to that of Fire Emblem Heroes which relies on micro transactions.
