Microsoft has announced that they’re opening a new Minecraft online store which will sell both user and Microsoft created content via Minecraft Coins purchased with real money (Yay micro-transactions). The store will be available on the Pocket and Windows 10 versions of the game, and the content includes skins, textures, and worlds. Microsoft is planning to allow purchases to be accessed across your devices via an Xbox Live account. A public beta for Android is coming in mid-April. There is no word when the Marketplace will come to consoles. Thoughts ? Sounds just like an excuse for micro-transactions. But it is nice to se that user created content is allowed, so all hope isn't lost.
