tvOS 11 Rumored To Add Multi-User Support And Picture In Picture

According to AppleInsider, the Apple TV will gain multi-user support and picture-in-picture with tvOS 11, the next major update of its operating system. tvOS 11 will almost likely be unveiled at Apple’s Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC) in June. Multi-user support will probably tailor onscreen content to the active profile/Apple ID. You’ll not only see their personal Apple Music, iCloud, and iTunes content, but also their own apps. Macs have offered multiple user accounts for everyone. iPads technically support it, but only in classroom settings. Seeing this on tvOS wouldn’t be that surprising. As for Picture-in-picture, this will let you watch a video in a corner window while browsing the homescreen or another app. This is available on both Macs and iPads.
