PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds publisher Bluehole, has
announced that it has created a subsidiary focused solely on the game. The new company, which is called PUBG Corp, is being led by newly appointed CEO Chang Han Kim. Under his leadership, PUBG Corp. will continue to work on the Early Access game's development and expanding its presence worldwide. “Given PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds' global success, we want to ensure that we have the operational efficiency that is required to support the game globally,” Kim said in a statement. “This new structure allows us to be nimble as we look towards the expansion of strategic business opportunities that include the game’s potential in the esports sector and the growth of PUBG as a true global IP franchise.”
