Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Releasing In December

During the September 2017 Nintendo Direct video presentation, Nintendo revealed new details on Xenoblade Chronicles 2, including some information about combat systems, characters, locations, release date, and more. The main character and protagonist Rex lives on a Titan's back, and was a salvager before Xenoblade Chronicles 2 begins. In this world, many locations are on these Titans, entire environments and biomes, ranging from open fields to cavernous depths. Rex's titan can also shrink to better interact with the characters in the game. One day Rex he meets Pyra, and it's off on a traditional grand adventure. Combat in Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is broken down into different types of roles, Drivers and Blades. Drivers are your frontline fighters, and Blades provide support and healing. Up to 3 Drivers and 3 Blades can work together to make the action happen. Charging up Driver arts allows you to unleash special abilities that depend on what Blades you're using. Depending on the situation, you may want to switch around your Blades. Xenoblade Chronicles 2 releases on Nintendo Switch on December 1. A special edition is available with a sound CD, steelbook, and a 222 page artbook. A new Xenoblade Chronicles 2 pro controller is also coming, which is available separately.
