This shouldn’t really surprise anyone, but it’s been confirmed that the Nintendo Switch has now outsold the Wii U’s lifetime sales in less than a year in Japan. Between December 2012 to December 2017 Nintendo’s struggling Wii U console sold 3.3 million units. Now as of March 3rd 2017 to December 24, 2017 Nintendo has shifted 3.3 million Nintendo Switch consoles. This means that the Nintendo Switch has outsold the Wii U is less than a year, which is extremely encouraging for the system going forward. Can’t wait to see what Nintendo has in store for 2018.
