During Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2019 event, the company announced the Galaxy S10, S10+, S10e and S10 5G. The S10 is the standard model while the S10+ increases its display, camera and performance specifications. The 10e is a more compact version with “premium essentials.” Last but not least, the S10 5G includes the fastest download speeds of the bunch, and will be available later in the year.
The Galaxy S10 includes an infinity O-display with its AMOLED screen, which supports HDR 10+ and dynamic tone mapping for small details. It also has an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner under the screen. The back of the S10 can also act as a charging station for other Samsung devices.
The Galaxy S10+ includes an ultra-wide, 3 camera array that features a 123-degree field of view. It also offers “super steady” high-quality video recording with digital stabilization technology. The S10 line also includes Fast Wireless Charging 2.0, IP68 water and dust resistance, a next-generation processor, and the S10+ comes with 1TB of built-in storage. The line will be available in Prism White, Prism Black, Prism Blue and Flamingo Pink colors. The S10+ will also be available in Ceramic Black and Ceramic White. The S10, S10+ and S10e will hit stores starting March 8, 2019. Pricing starts at $900 for Galaxy S10, $1,000 for Galaxy S10+ and $750 for Galaxy S10e for both carrier and unlocked versions. Preorders for these models start on February 21.
