The Final Fantasy XIV PS5 Open Beta Is Happening Next Week

Square Enix has updated its EU blog to show fans how they can get in the Final Fantasy XIV PS5 open beta. The beta is Tuesday, April 13, and will be launching alongside the anticipated 5.5 patch update.

For those interested in trying out the open beta, there are a few steps you need to follow: 

1. Log into your PS5 account
2. Visit the PlayStation Store and find the Final Fantasy XIV store page
3. Once there, press the [...] button and select Final Fantasy XIV PS5 Upgrade Edition (Beta Version)
4. When finished downloading, simply launch the game

Square Enix also confirms that the PS5 version will offer the same content that the PS4 version.
