This indicates that Sony's lucrative PlayStation 4 console has now been outsold by Nintendo's current platform. The Nintendo DS and the PlayStation 2 are the only two platforms that have more popularity than the Nintendo Switch lineup. The Nintendo Switch family is currently 30 million units behind the PlayStation 2 system and 5 million units ahead of Sony's PlayStation 4. Sales of the PlayStation 2 have reached 155 million, while sales of the Nintendo DS have reached 154.02 million.
