Smash Bros. creator Masahiro Sakurai made the announcement on Miiverse and revealed the first pictures of Meta Knight from the Wii U version of the frantic fighting game. "The veteran hero, Meta Knight, returns to battle. We didn't forget the Battleship Halberd either" Sakurai said. Also Sakurai detailed the updates to Meta Knight's move set in the upcoming Super Smash Bros. "Meta Knight's up special move, Shuttle Loop, changed quite a bit in this game," he wrote. "The glide is gone, and the attack slashes opponents twice while spinning in a large loop. This has turned into a highly technical and effective move."
