Apple Announces The Public Beta Program Will Continue

Users who participated in the Public Beta testing of OS X Yosemite received an e-mail that indicated Apple will continue to offer the program in the future. It’s unclear whether Apple will offer the beta version of smaller software updates to members of the program. The public beta offering of Yosemite was a new program for Apple. While it was limited to the first 1 million users, Apple never announced the exact figures on how many people took part in the program.
