According to Gearbox, Borderlands 2 sales have passed the 12 million mark. That’s insane. The game was first released in autumn 2012, in its opening months, Borderlands 2 shipped 5 million copies and sold 8.5 million. The most recent release in the series, Borderlands: The Handsome Collection, is a remastered package of both Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel with all of the DLC for each game.
