Harmonix has announced a strange partnership with Gearbox that has brought Borderlands' Nisha and Claptrap to Dance Central: Spotlight as playable characters. The characters is free and interestingly enough you access the characters through cheat codes. On the character select screen you just need to press the X button 5 times to unlock Nisha, or the Y button 5 times for Claptrap. They don't suddenly appear as selectable characters on the select screen. Instead, whoever you had previously selected will turn into the Borderlands character you inputted the code for. Its nice to see cheat codes being added into a modern day video game. Its seems not that long ago cheats codes where everywhere. There were even books and websites just for cheats codes, which just adds nostalgia.
