Capcom is postponing the Street Fighter V Beta after 3 days of problematic server performance. The beta was scheduled to last from July 23 to July 27. “After 3 days of testing, while we were making progress and collecting valuable data, we felt the majority of players were not having a good experience, and the best course of action would be to take the servers offline for extended maintenance,” Capcom writes. “We will be postponing our first beta phase until we believe the experience is going to be a positive 1 for players.” Capcom is planning 3 beta periods, but will not count this recent one against that number. Prior to cancellation, the beta was limited to the Americas for the first 2 days to hedge against server load. I think its smart that Capcom is postponing the Street Fighter V Beta and not counting this recent one as one of the 3 beta’s. This shows that they care about the game and there community for the game. I think I speak for a lot for SF fans who want the game to be the best it can be on launch day. What do you think ? Did you get the chance to play the Street Fighter V beta ? What did you think of it ?
