Halo 5: Guardians Will Be Rated T For Teens

Halo 5: Guardians has received a Teen rating from the ESRB, making it the first of the Halo in the main series to receive a rating other than a Mature rating. The ESRB listing highlights the standard Halo violence like "Players use pistols, machine guns, grenade launchers, and futuristic weapons to kill alien and human enemies in frenetic combat. Battles are highlighted by realistic gunfire, explosions, and blood splatter effects. Characters can also use assassinate other characters by snapping their necks, or by stabbing them with a bladed weapons." Then there is the game's language, with the occasional bad word here and there along with taunts and insults. All of this apparently didn’t give the game a Mature rating. Maybe the ESRB has changed there standard on how they rate a game.  What of you think ? Halo 5: Guardians is set for release on October 27 for Xbox One.
