Capcom has announced Resident Evil 2 is getting a remake. The project is in development at Capcom's with Yoshiaki Hirabayashi in charge of the project. Hirabayashi was the producer on the remake of the original Resident Evil. You can check out the video below for more details. Seems to be a few people picking up a mistranslation in our own investor report. RE2 will be a full from the ground up remake NOT a remaster
