League of Legends developer Riot Games has acquired Rising Thunder developer Radiant Entertainment. Radiant has been working on 2 titles. Stonehearth, a voxel building game and Rising Thunder, a competitive robot fighting game spearheaded by fighting game veteran Seth Killian. Stonehearth will remain in development, but the Rising Thunder alpha is closing on March 18. This is extremely sad to hear as a Rising Thunder fan. As a person who was all that good at fighting games, Rising Thunder made me feel fairly good at a fighting game. With its east to understand controls and fun game play. It will surely be missed.
