Apple will no longer support QuickTime for Windows, along with no longer patching security flaws in the software. The company is also advising users to uninstall the media player from their Windows machines for security reasons. This happened after Trend Micro discovered 2 flaws in the Windows build of QuickTime and reported them to Apple. Apple will no longer support QuickTime for Windows, along with no longer patching security flaws in the software.
