2K Games has announced that Mafia III will be released on October 7. A new trailer was released to gives players more insight into why Vietnam vet Lincoln Clay wants to kill mob boss Sal Marcano. The trailer also reveals the name of the fake New Orleans setting. New Orleans goes by the name New Bordeaux in the game. 2K Games also announced 2 special editions of the game that available for pre-order starting today. The Deluxe edition ($79.99) comes with the game and a season pass for downloadable content that has yet to be outlined. The Collector's Edition ($149.99) comes with the season pass as well as a collectable art book, art prints, and a vinyl copy of the original game score. Mafia III is coming to PS4, Xbox One and PC on October 7.
