According to LevelUp, God of War director Cory Barlog confirmed that the new game won’t have a multiplayer mode. Barlog also spoke about the future for the series, saying that this won't be Kratos' last game, and that we'll be controlling Kratos. Kratos is aware of his past, his son on the other hand knows nothing about his god killing days. Though I feel that will change as the story goes on. The New God Of War Won’t Have Multiplayer + More
