Apple Pay Is Now In France


Apple has debuted Apple Pay in France making the country the 8th one to get Apple’s mobile payment service after the U.S., UK, Canada, Australia, China, Singapore, and Switzerland. Mastercard and Visa credit cards marketed through Banque Populaire, Caisse Epargne, Carrefour Banque and Ticket Restaurant can be used with Apple Pay France. Support is also slated for Boon and Orange. Apple lists 15 major French chains as participating retailers, including its own brick-and-mortar stores, with future support promised from Boulanger, Orange and department store Galleries Lafayette.
