Niantic Expands Pokemon GO’s Updated Nearby And Sightings Features (UPDATE)

Pokemon GO’s upgraded Nearby and Sightings features have been exclusive to San Francisco, until now. The feature is now available in states west of the Mississippi River (except Hawaii and Alaska) in America, British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, the western half of Ontario in Canada and all of Australia. Niantic has detailed the update in a post and is continuing to refer to the feature as a test. There’s no word on when the features will be universally available.

UPDATE 12/6/16 - The Nearby features in Pokemon GO is now available to the whole United States and most of Europe.
