Square Enix’s Shinji Hasjimoto has revealed to Weekly Famitsu that the company will announce its plans for Final Fantasy’s 30th anniversary soon. Final Fantasy will celebrate its 30th anniversary on December 18th, 2017.
UPDATE 12/22/16 - Square Enix has announced that it will be holding the opening ceremony for Final Fantasy's 30th anniversary festivities on January 31.
