According to Korea IT News, LG Display has partnered up with Apple and Google and is developing “out-foldable” displays for smartphones. The article says the company is going to start mass-producing them in 2018.

LG is already working closely with Apple; the companies, in tandem, worked on the UltraFine 4K and UltraFine 5K monitors, which Apple promotes as the external display for use with the 2016 MacBook Pros.
