According to a user on Reddit who uploaded a picture that shows that the Nintendo Switch has a screenshot limit of 1,000, courtesy of the console’s memory. However, you can increase the screenshot limit to 10,000 if you insert a microSD card into the console. When you reach the limit, you are given a notification (as you can see in the image below).
