Overwatch's Mercy Is Getting Overhauled

In a new developer video update, Overwatch game director Jeff Kaplan spoke about changes to everyones favorite support hero, Mercy. Mercy's signature ultimate ability that allows her to bring characters back to life is becoming her second ability and changing completely - it's now single target only, and on a cooldown. Mercy's new ultimate is Valkyrie, which does "a lot of things." When Valkyrie is activated, Mercy can fly, real flying, not boosting or floating. Mercy's entire kit is enhanced when Valkyrie is activated, so you can chain beams to multiple targets to heal them or boost their damage, and her gun also hits harder and shoots faster.
