Nintendo president Shuntaro Furukawa spoke at the recent Nintendo financial Q&A has for the first time apologized for issues some Switch users are facing with their Joy-Con controllers. Joy-Con drifting has been an issue since around the launch of the system and class-action lawsuits have started. Here’s what Mr. Furukawa has to say during the Q&A session:
“Regarding the Joy-Con, we apologize for any trouble caused to our customers,” said Nintendo president Shuntaro Furukawa. “We are continuing to aim to improve our products, but as the Joy-Con is the subject of a class-action lawsuit in the United States and this is still a pending issue, we would it like to refrain from responding about any specific actions.”
