In case you didn’t know, the PS5 camera isn’t compatible with the PSVR headset. Sony is now allowing PS VR owners to request a PlayStation 5 camera adapter free of charge.
The PS5 camera adapter connects the existing PlayStation camera (for PS4) to a PlayStation 5, allowing PS VR to work on the next-gen console. You should also keep in mind that you’ll still need a DualShock 4/PlayStation Move controllers to play current PS VR games on PS5.
To get your PS5 camera adapter, first you’ll need to have your PS VR serial number ready. It can be found on the headset's black processor unit, near the connector ports. Then, get to Sony’s support website. Once your headset is verified, you’ll enter your shipping address and basic info, and you’re good to go.
